Starting December 12, Chester Street is only open to eastbound traffic, due to the installation of new water lines and road resurfacing.  The route detour is as follows:

Route 4 Eastbound:

• Left on E. Erie St.
• Right on Richmond St.
• Right on Chester St.
• Right on N. State St.
• Right on Main St.
• Right on N. St. Clair to Painesville Transfer Center
• Resume regular routing to Madison

There is no detour for Route 4 westbound. The detour will continue until March 2023. Track your bus on our Real-time Map.
