Connect to RTA

Free Transfers: Laketran and RTA have a free transfer agreement to assist riders in having regional access to high quality public transportation services. Riders may transfer once from any Laketran commuter bus to RTA’s HealthLine to University Circle, Rapid Transit at Tower City or a bus.

You must always pay the fare on the first system you board. A transfer is valid for one ride on the adjoining system. Traveling westbound from Lake County, you must ask your Laketran driver for a transfer to RTA. Traveling eastbound into Lake County, you must ask your RTA driver for a non-valid fare receipt that serves as a transfer.

RTA Historic Downtown Trolleys: Trolleys are back in Cleveland, and the fare is “free with a smile”. The E-line and B-line Trolleys run every 10 minutes, so you’re never far away from quick, easy, and FREE downtown transportation! Find schedules and route information at www.riderta.com. The trolleys offer a great way to get you around downtown or just hop on for a little sightseeing around the city that rocks!
