Lake County, OH – Laketran is excited to announce the expansion of its Sports Express service to now include round trip transportation to Cleveland Cavaliers playoff games and weekend Cleveland Guardians games.
Starting with the second round of the NBA playoffs, Laketran will offer convenient, round trip transportation to downtown Cleveland for just $15 per person. The service will begin with Cavs home game against the Pacers on Sunday, May 4 and continue through the Cavs’ postseason run.
In addition, starting Saturday, May 10, Laketran will provide service to weekend Guardians games, giving baseball fans a stress-free option for getting to Progressive Field.
“Our Sports Express service has been a hit with Browns fans, and we’re thrilled to now offer it for Cavs playoff games and Guardians weekends,” said Laketran CEO Ben Capelle. “It’s an easy, affordable, and fun way to enjoy the energy of downtown Cleveland without worrying about traffic or parking.”
Buses will depart from Laketran’s Mentor Park-n-Ride at 8650 Market Street approximately two hours before game time, with drop-off at the corner of W. 3rd and Prospect Avenue, that provides access to a short walk through Tower City to both Rocket Arena and Progressive Field. Return trips will depart 45 minutes after the final buzzer or last pitch.
Tickets are on sale at www.laketransts.com and must be purchased online.
“We piloted this service with the Browns last fall and the response was overwhelmingly positive,” added Capelle. “Expanding to include the Cavs and Guardians was a natural next step. We’re excited to give more Lake County residents a convenient way to experience the games.”
