Website Update to Real-time Maps

A website/app update will be performed on Tuesday, May 20 at 10:00 a.m.

During that time, all real-time maps will not operate and Laketran’s bus tracking capabilities will not be accessible. 

We anticipate the update to last 30 minutes. 

Rt. 12 PM Detour

Rt 12. PM detour Monday, May 19 – Wednesday, May 21

Beginning Monday, May 19, W. 6th St. will be closed between St. Clair Ave. and Lakeside Ave due to construction. This closure will affect the Rt. 12 afternoon trips.

During construction, Rt. 12 will detour as follows:

From W. 6th St.

  • Right on St. Clair Ave.
  • Left on W. 3rd
  • Right on Lakeside Ave. back to regular route

The following stops will be out of service:

  • 6TH. ST. & LAKESIDE AVE. (ID: 912)

Closed Memorial Day

Laketran will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025 in observance of Memorial Day.  Administrative offices and Customer Service will be closed and no services will operate.  Please remember to book your Dial-a-Ride trips in advance for the days following the holiday by calling Customer Service at 440-354-6100. You can also manage your trips online 24/7 with Request-a-Ride. We wish you a safe and happy holiday.

Rt. 4 Closed Bus Stops

The following bus stops are currently closed for service due to road construction:

  • Route 4 eastbound between Townline Rd. and Green Rd. has 5 bus stops out of service until the construction situation improves. Bus stops #289, 290, #317, 291 and #292 are out of service.
