Need a last-minute ride to an appointment? Picking up an extra shift at work? Just need to grab a few essentials from the store? With Rides on Demand, you can book a same-day trip anywhere in Lake County—no advance planning needed!

How it works

Download the Rides on Demand app from the App Store or Google Play. Create an account and follow the prompts to request a trip. You can request a trip to pick you up as soon as possible, or a trip to pick you up later in the day.

You can also call Laketran Customer Service at 440-350-1000 to book a Rides on Demand trip.

How to pay 

Rides on Demand is a prepaid service. Customers must pay for their trips in advance when booking.

You can add funds to your wallet in the Rides on Demand app and your fare will be deducted from your balance when you book.

If you book your Rides on Demand trips by phone, you will be required to pay with a credit or debit card when scheduling your ride. If you do not have a credit card, Laketran provides free rides to Laketran to add cash to your Rides on Demand account.

NEW!! If you already have a Request-a-Ride account for Dial-a-Ride, you can link your account to your Rides on Demand account to use one app to book rides and pay.  Watch this quick video to learn how to connect your accounts or call Customer Service at 440-350-1000.

Fares

• Regular fare: $14.00 each way.
• Reduced fare: $3.50 each way (seniors, individuals with disabilities and veterans.)  To be eligible for a reduced fare, you must complete Laketran’s Reduced Fare Application.
• If you already have a Reduced Fare application on file, please call Customer Service to apply your eligibility to your Rides on Demand account.
