Laketran’s Airport Express is in a “soft launch” testing phase. The service is open to the general public; but we are still making adjustments for a better customer experience. All details below are subject to change. Here’s a few helpful tips to get started:
- If you’re a current Laketran customer, call Customer Service to enable online registration for Airport Express and/or to book your trip .
- New customers can select “Register Now” and follow steps to create an account or call Customer Service at 440-350-1000.
- Airport Express is a shared-ride service. To enjoy affordable pricing, your trip may be shared with additional pick-ups or drop-offs in Lake County or from the airport.
- As with all our services, trips are scheduled first come, first serve. We currently operate five Airport Express buses.

Door-to-Door Convenience – We pick you up at your home, office, or hotel in Lake County and take you directly to the airport. When you return, we’ll bring you home the same way.
Available 24/7 – Early morning flight? Late-night arrival? No problem. Airport Express operates around the clock to fit your travel schedule.
Affordable Shared-Ride Pricing – Travel smarter with coordinated shared rides based on similar flight times. Fares are one-way.

Flexible Seating – Our five, ADA-accessible Airport Express buses seat 14 passengers or can accommodate up to two wheelchairs with 10 additional seats.

Travel Details
Going to the Airport
- Schedule your pickup time based on your flight’s departure time
- Please be ready 10 minutes before pickup
- Earlier airport drop-offs can be accommodated upon request
Returning Home
- Schedule your pickup at the airport based on your flight’s arrival time
- We monitor flights for delays
- Drivers meet passengers in the airport Ground Transportation Center (follow signs to Limousines Lot)
- Drivers wait up to 45 minutes after your flight arrives at the gate
Luggage Information
Airport Express vehicles include luggage racks for easy travel.
Each passenger may bring:
- Up to 2 standard bags (50 lbs. each)
- 1 personal item

Customer Assistance
Laketran drivers are committed to providing a safe and comfortable experience. Drivers will:
- Greet you at your door
- Help carry and load luggage
- Assist you safely to and from the vehicle. Drivers do not enter private homes or escort to the gates. Customers needing wheelchair assistance inside the airport should arrange accommodations directly through their airline.

- Cancellations Reservations may be canceled free of charge at least 2 hours before your scheduled trip
