Laketran is excited to announce a hiring event to fill up to 20 part-time bus driver positions to operate its Dial-a-Ride and Rides on Demand services. The additional drivers will support Laketran’s expansion to 7-day service with the launch of Sunday Dial-a-Ride service coming in early fall.

Drivers will primarily serve seniors and people with disabilities and provide assistance helping customers get around Lake County and to nearby Cuyahoga County medical facilities.

Interviews are guaranteed to all applicants attending the event on Tuesday, June 10 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Laketran Headquarters at 555 Lakeshore Blvd. Painesville Twp., OH 44077.

REQUIREMENTS: A valid driver’s license is required for an interview. All applicants must pass a background check, drug-test and ODOT physical. Candidates must be available for a six-week training class that begins Monday, July 7 and work anytime Laketran operates. No CDL is required.
