Laketran is excited to announce a hiring event to fill 18 part-time bus driver positions to operate its Dial-a-Ride service. Drivers will primarily serve seniors and people with disabilities and provide assistance helping customers get around Lake County and to nearby Cuyahoga County medical facilities.

Interviews are guaranteed to all applicants attending the event on Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 2:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at Auburn Career Center’s TLC Building located at 8221 Auburn Rd, Concord, OH 44077.

“Being a public transit driver is a great career opportunity for any phase in life. Many of our part-time drivers quickly move to full-time positions creating lifelong careers, while others enjoy it as a retirement job,” shared Laketran CEO Ben Capelle. “We are excited to bring more awareness to transit careers while seeking out individuals who are passionate about serving our community.”

No CDL is required and all training is provided and paid.
