The Laketran Board of Trustees welcomes Brandon D. R. Dynes as General Counsel of the agency. Dynes was hired by unanimous vote of the board at the January trustees meeting.
Dynes is a principal at the law firm Thrasher, Dinsmore & Dolan and a Concord resident.
“We are thrilled to have Brandon on board as he brings with him vast experience of both government and corporate law,” said board president Brian Falkowski. “Brandon is very active in the Lake County community serving on many boards and understands the valuable role Laketran plays in serving our community.”
At Thrasher, Dinsmore & Dolan, Dynes litigates a multitude of civil matters, but focuses his practice on municipal and public entity law; business and corporate issues; and zoning and real estate.
Dynes currently serves as an acting judge in the Painesville Municipal Court and is legal counsel to the Lake County, Ohio Port and Economic Development Authority. He is an appointed member of the Supreme Court of Ohio Board of Commissioners on Character & Fitness and the Concord Township Board of Zoning Appeals.
“I am honored and excited to serve as general counsel for Laketran,” shared Dynes. “Laketran has an excellent reputation in serving our community as well as being fiscally responsible with public funds. I look forward to working with the staff and board to support the mission of the agency.”
Dynes replaces Paul Malchesky who resigned from the position after being elected to serve as Judge of the Painesville Municipal Court.
