“We’re always amazed by the creativity of our student artists. This year’s America 250 theme encourages students to explore our local impact on the nation’s story through art,” shared Laketran spokesperson Julia Schick. “Featuring student artwork on our buses is a wonderful way to showcase local talent and create connections throughout the community.”
Avery Dennison, a Lake County-based manufacturer and distributor of pressure-sensitive adhesive materials, makes the contest possible by donating the vinyl material used to wrap the vehicle each year.
The 2025 art contest winners, along with additional entries, are on display at the Frank J. Polivka transit center at Lakeland Community College that is open to the public Monday – Saturday.
