Brian J. Falkowski, President

Residence: Concord

Profession: Controller at Singerman, Mills, Desberg & Kauntz Co., L.P.A.

Education: Master of Business Administration degree from The Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and Bachelor of Arts degree from John Carroll University

Mr. Falkowski brings a strong financial and management background to the Laketran Board of Trustees and is the current President, past Vice President, and past Financial Committee Chair.

Mr. Falkowski is a 2015 Graduate of Leadership Lake County, participated in the 2016 Lake Health Physician Shadowing Program, and is very involved in the Lake County community.

Chuck Zibbel, PE, Vice President

Residence: Concord Township

Profession: Retired Engineer & Director - Burgess & Niple

Education: Ohio Northern University, BSCE

Mr. Zibbel recently retired from a 42 year career as a civil engineer and director at Burgess & Niple where he managed notable Lake County projects including Perry Local Schools, Lake County Drainage Study, Painesville WPCP Expansion, Aquarius Water Treatment Plant, and multiple Laketran Park-n-Ride lots.

Mary L. Bryner

Residence: Mentor

Profession: Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Agent, Progressive Insurance Company

Education: Lakeland Community College & Cleveland State University

Mrs. Bryner current serves on the Mentor School Board, Mentor Schools PTA, and other various Mentor School associations.  Mary is a member of Insurance Women of Lake/Geauga Counties and previously sat on their executive board.  In 2000, Mrs. Bryner was awarded Insurance Women of Cleveland “Woman of the Year” and graduated from Leadership Lake County in 2011.

Jon P. Marten

Residence: Concord Township

Profession: Retired, Executive Vice President, Finance and Administration and CFO of Parker Hannifin

Education: Virginia Tech, Bachelors of Science and Baldwin-Wallace College, Masters of Business Administration

Mr. Marten had a 30 year career in finance and administration at Parker Hannifin advancing through several controller positions. He recently retired in 2017 after serving seven years as the Parker’s Executive Vice President, Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer.

Donna P. McNamee, Operations Chair

Residence: Willoughby

Profession: Communications Consultant

Education: Ursuline College

Past President (2003) of Laketran Board of Trustees, Past-Treasurer of Friends of Laketran and Chair of Friends of Laketran Annual Golf Outing, participates on numerous boards for American Public Transportation Association and Easter Seals Project Action as a national transportation advocate.

Dennis Montrella

Residence: Willoughby

Profession: Retired

Education: Kent State University, Bachelor of Science in education and University of Akron, Masters degree in Urban Studies

Mr. Montrella has twenty years experience in higher education administration followed by twenty years in the private business sector including time as a sales account manager for Sallie Mae, a vice president for the Student Loan Funding Corp. and vice president for KeyBank.  He is retired and resides in Willoughby.

Dale Schiavoni

Residence: Concord

Profession: Retired ODOT Administrator

Education: University of Cincinnati, Professional Engineer License

Mr. Schiavoni offers extensive experience with the Ohio Department of Transportation with 17 years of experience relating to plan production including project decision or contract design management and more than 20 years managing district planning department which establishes district’s short-and long-range construction program.

Jean Sency, Finance Chair

Residence: Madison

Profession: Vice President, Resource Development, United Way Lake County

Education: Lakeland Community College

Mrs. Sency offers an in depth knowledge of the social needs within Lake County and a wealth of community relations among the health and human service agencies that work with Laketran to provide transportation access to services.

Lane H. Sheets

Residence: Concord Township

Profession: Owner/President of Diversified Business Systems, Inc.

Education: Masters of Science Management, Case Western Reserve Weatherhead School of Management and Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Ohio University

Mr. Sheets is the owner and president of Diversified Business Systems with 40 years of IT and engineering expertise. He is a 2010 graduate of Leadership Lake County and has served on many local boards.
