Public Record Request

Laketran is a political subdivision of the State of Ohio, organized under O.R.C. 306. As a public entity, Laketran is required to maintain a public records program under the O.R.C 149.43. You are not required to use this form to make a public records request, but it is available to you to make a public records request.  If easier, you can download our Laketran Public Records Request Form or make a written request by emailing Trudy Vilcheck at tvilcheck@laketran.com or mailing your request to Laketran, Attn: Public Records Request, 555 Lakeshore Blvd. Painesville Twp., Ohio 44077. Requesters are not required to make a written request or reveal their identity. If you would prefer to make a verbal request please call 440-350-1002.

There is no charge to inspect public records or for emailed documents. Copies of records are available at the actual cost of copies, postage, mailing supplies, or other delivery costs. It is permissible to require payment of all costs in advance of delivery.

If you feel you have been discriminated against based on one of the above characteristics, you have the right to file a complaint.
