Need a last-minute ride to an appointment? Picking up an extra shift at work? Just need to grab a few essentials from the store? With Rides on Demand, you can book a same-day trip anywhere in Lake County—no advance planning needed!

How it works

Download the Rides on Demand app from the App Store or Google Play. Create an account and follow the prompts to request a trip. You can request a trip to pick you up as soon as possible, or a trip to pick you up later in the day.

You can also call Laketran Customer Service at 440-354-6100 to book a Rides on Demand trip.

How to pay

Download the EZfare app from the App Store or Google Play. Create an account. Select buy tickets and choose Laketran as your agency. You will see Rides on Demand tickets as an option under Laketran Tickets. After completing your transaction your ticket will appear in your ticket wallet. When your bus arrives for pick up, activate the ticket and scan the QR code when boarding the bus. *Note: tickets are only active for 30 minutes, do not activate ticket until your bus arrives.

Rides on Demand vehicles also accept cash when boarding.

Fares

Regular fare: $14.00 each way.
Reduced fare: $3.50 each way ( seniors, individuals with disabilities and veterans.) To be eligible for a reduced fare, you must complete Laketran’s Reduced Fare Application.
