Laketran Board of Trustees meetings

Laketran holds a monthly Laketran Board of Trustees meeting at Laketran’s Headquarters, 555 Lakeshore Blvd. Painesville Township, OH 44077. All meetings are open to the public.

Public transit options: Local Route 8 or Dial-a-Ride.  For Dial-a-Ride, please schedule your reservation 1-12 business days in advance by calling Laketran at 440-354-6100.  Requests for meeting notices can be made by calling 440-350-1002 or emailing tvilcheck@laketran.com.

Laketran Public Hearings

Laketran is seeking community feedback on proposed new and expanded transit services, including a new Park-n-Ride route to University Circle, Sunday Dial-a-Ride service, transportation service to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, and on-demand Dial-a-Ride service. Attendees will also be able to give feedback on modifications to the current Park-n-Ride schedules.

As part of its public participation process, Laketran will host three public hearings in May to gather input from riders and residents. The public hearings will be held:

• Tuesday, May 13 at 6:00 p.m. at Wickliffe Public Library, 1713 Lincoln Rd. Wickliffe, OH 44092
• Wednesday, May 14 at 12:30 p.m. – Virtual Public Hearing via Zoom – Register
• Monday, May 19 at 6:00 p.m. at Mentor Municipal Center, 2nd Floor Conference Room, 8500 Civic Center Blvd., Mentor, OH 44060

Proposed service changes to be discussed include:

• On-demand Dial-a-Ride service
• Route 13 – Park-n-Ride service to University Circle
• Sunday Dial-a-Ride service hours
• Airport service to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
• Modifications to Park-n-Ride Routes 10-12
